One huge advantage that Roses garden centre have over many others is that around half of the plants sales area is under cover, making wet weather shopping for plants a reality. The plants are arranged mainly in small bays with some of the plants on the ground. It's an attractively laid out sales area with good sized paths, most of them being paved or solid tarmac. A few of the side paths are of reasonably solid gravel. It's all kept very clean and tidy. They stock a good range of plants here including shrubs, trees roses and alpines. They also stock a large choice of bedding plants and beautiful hanging baskets in season. The plants are healthy, well-displayed and the prices are very competitive. Inside they sell a good range of gardening items at reasonable prices, the average gardener will find most of the items they require including plant feeds, pesticides, tools, pots, hanging basket items etc. They also sell a good range of metal garden furniture inside and lots of chunky wooden garden furniture in a poly-tunnel outside. Cafe Rosie is simply furnished and has a pleasantly airy feel to it. They sell snack meals such as baked potatoes, paninis, soups as well as lots of cakes, teas, coffees and other drinks.
