27 March 2014  Wyevale Garden Centres has acquired its 140th garden centre reinforcing its dominance in the  sector.

The independent garden centre, Brooks Nursery and Garden Centre, has been taken over by Wyevale Garden Centres. This is the first purchase by TGCG in 2014 and follows 10 previous ones in 2013.

Chief executive of TGCG, Kevin Bradshaw, commented: "We are pleased to continue our growth with the addition of a centre with a strong and loyal customer base and an excellent reputation across a range of gardening-related products. The Brooks centre complements our estate well, and we look forward to offering garden club membership to all our new customers."
