05 July 2013  Months of negotiations look like they are at an end for Garden and Leisure Garden Centres with a buyer agreed and a price set.

Three contenders were believed to be in the running to buy the £40m turnover business, Wyevale Garden Centres, Blue Diamond and Notcutts. Sources close to Garden and Leisure have hinted that the most likely buyer is Wyevale Garden Centres.

Garden and Leisure is owned by the Lloyd's and their first site was the Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury in Bristol. They teamed up with the Truffaut Group and overe a two year period bought six more garden centres in the UK.
