The Selby Road, Leeds branch of Strikes Garden Centre is one of the smaller of their branches. It has no cafe and aims itself squarely at the local gardening community. Small garden centres like this have a definite place in their local communities. They provide just a little more than the basics your average gardener needs and they do it at a competitive price locally.

The plants area is small in comparison to fully sized garden centres but it stocks a good choice of the basic needs. Most times you visit they will, in all probability be able to offer you the plants you need. Seasonal bedding plants are a speciality, hardy plants come with a very good five year guarantee. The area is well kept, easy to get round and pleasantly organised.

As well as plants, they offer garden accessories such as tools, chemicals, feeds, composts, seeds and bulbs. They have a small range of garden furniture, barbecues and garden buildings supplied by Timber Cabins.
