Notcutts Norwich Garden Centre stocks an excellent range of healthy plants in a plants area that has wide, paved paths that provide good access to all areas. They don't specialise in any particular group of plants but satisfy the needs of the average gardener.

The inside sales area is large and sells all the gardening accessories you would expect of a large garden centre. Prices are about average. They have a pet centre which sell small, live pets and a comprehensive choice of feeds and pet accessories. The aquatics centre is run by Maidenhead Aquatics and we highly recommend it for lots of choice and healthy fish.

Other franchises include Cotton Traders which sells clothing and footwear at competitive prices. There is also a camping outlet (PJ Camping) which supplies tents, sleeping bags, outside cooking equipment - everything the enthusiastic camper might need.

Notcutts stress their cafe and indeed it serves good food at reasonable prices. the queuing system is not perfect though because most food is served at the counter and by the time you get to eat your food it has definitely cooled down a bit even though you are provided with a plate cover. Presentation and quality of the food is slightly above average.

CHRISTMAS AT NORWICH NOTCUTTS GARDEN CENTRE

Norwich Garden Centre provide lots of seasonal spirit with excellent displays, decorations, gifts and Christmas Trees. The displays begin to appear in very early November. They provide a kiddies farm with some tame animals (including Santa's reindeer) for the children to pet. Santa has his own grotto where children can visit him and receive a Christmas present for £7.99. The cafe hosts "tea with Santa" which starts in late November through to 24th December.
