The plants area at Hillier Bath Garden Centre is on a slope and prior to building works in 2007 this was most definitely a problem. However, easier slopes and resurfaced paths have gone a long way to making the slopes easier to manage. One of the benefits of being high up though are the beautiful views, not only from the plants are but also the cafe, over the surrounding Somerset countryside. They stock a comprehensive range of plants, many of which are grown in the Hillier nurseries. The aquatics section is great to visit even if you are not buying. The range of different types of fish is extensive and the choice of ponds, liners and other aquatic accessories is superb.
