Gateacre has a sister garden centre, Burleydam, both being owned by the Williams family. They have been in the same family for three generations. They stock a wide range of healthy looking plants with a five year hardy plants guarantee. The plant display area is well designed and a pleasure to shop in. The paths are wide and there several centre piece displays to make the area look attractive.

Inside they have lots of houseplants on display, more than you normally expect. They also specialise in solid oak wood furniture, very expensive but then again beautiful and it will last a lifetime or even longer. They have a small deli section which sells jams, preserves, chutneys, frozen foods and lots more. Gifts, cards footwear and other items are also sold.
