Collyer's Nurseries dated back over 75 years and have been in the same family all that time. They concentrate on plants and have a large well laid out selection. Clematis, roses, Japanese maples, shrubs, bedding plants and many others are available in tip top condition.

The majority of the area is good for disabled access. This plants nursery sells a fairly good range of shrubs, herbaceous plants and bedding plants. One area in which they excel is their display of Japanese Maple trees. With an enclosed area specially dedicated to growing these spectacular trees they have lots of different trees for their customers to choose from. Clematis are another speciality of Collyer's, you can be sure that all the old favourites are there plus a few less well-known ones well worth growing. Being a family nursery they are more than willing to advise you on which plants and varieties will grow best in your particular garden situation - personal service is a hallmark of this nursery.

As well as plants they also stock an excellent range of garden furniture from Grange Timber and Peter Smith Garden Furniture (made in Yorkshire). There is a comprehensive choice of plant pots in several types of ,materials as well as stone statues and garden ornaments.
