Squires bought the Cobham Garden Centre from Shoots in May 2011. That deal took the total number of Squires Garden Centres to 14.

This is a medium to large garden centre with a good selection of healthy plants. The outside plants sales area is well paved and has excellent signs for locating plants. Individual plant information is also good.

This garden centre has an excellent selection of more mature plants, especially ornamental trees.

The layout of the plants sales area is well designed with smallish plant bays and a few centre pieces (see picture to the left) giving it a very pleasant appearance. Noise from the nearby road is slightly intrusive.

The aquatics department is well stocked with lots of fish, pond equipment, feeds and accessories. The range of water features is good and they are well displayed.

The interior sales area is pleasant if unremarkable with a strong emphasis on the sale of garden and conservatory furniture.
