Bucklands have been in business for 150 years and run by many generations of the Hogg family throughout that time.

This is a charming plants nursery which sticks to its horticultural roots. Many of the plants are grown on site (approximately 80% of bedding and 25% of the other plants) and prices are very competitive. The layout is basic but the main paths are paved and many plants are displayed on wooden stands.

This is the place to visit if you want advice about plants for particular situations in your garden and it is given with years of experience. The owners are on site for most of the time.

Plants aside they have a huge range of garden statues and stone ware for a nursery of this size. You won't find a larger choice for miles around. They also stock lots of paving and different types of grits / gravel. At Christmas they stock fresh Christmas trees and wreaths.
