Blisss Lane Nursery is a couple of miles from junction 16 of the M1, four miles south of Daventry. If you are looking for cafe food and a break from M1 driving then the garden centre and especially the cafe are a good stopping point. Just check their opening times at the end of this article.

Chris Littlewood established the plants nursery in the late 1980s and it has expanded to include a thriving floristry business and a farm shop selling local produce. The farm shop stocks a large range of local meat including turkeys and chickens especially for Christmas. Vegetables and fruit are also sold, often it is home grown on the adjoining farm. Home baked cakes and pies are particular speciality, cooked on site. If quality local produce is on your shopping list then this is definitely the place to visit.

This is a "proper" plants nursery where you will find home grown bedding plants, hanging baskets, perennials, shrubs and trees. They take care to ensure that quality is high and prices are low. Personal service is a key benefit at this nursery, staff are always in the plants area if you want advice. This is very pleasant place to wander around if you're looking for plants.
