The Andover Garden Centre is reasonably standard, belonging to Dobbies. You can expect quality plants. The layout of the plants area is rather boring but it's clean with wide paths and good signs showing where the major plant types can be found.
The cafe is good, with a choice of hot meals, paninis, salads, baked potatoes, cakes and a good choice of drinks. Most of the meals are cooked freshly each day on site and the food quality is above average.
Inside there is a comprehensive choice of all the items a gardener would need at reasonable prices. They have a Pets Corner (no live pets) that stocks al manner of pet foods, accessories etc., you can even arrange to have you pet micro-chipped. For the aquatics enthusiast Maidenhead Aquatics are in-store with lots of attractively displayed fish, pumps, tanks, feeds, pond plants and pond bases.
In common with almost all medium to large garden centre the Andover Garden Centre offers a wide choice of conservatory and garden furniture which is well displayed.
Christmas is not forgotten at Andover Garden Centre with lunches and breakfasts with Santa for the kids. Father Christmas himself also can be seen in his grotto for £7 with a present included.
