Stapeley Water Gardens have now closed permanently. A spokesman for the company said "Unfortunately difficult trading conditions and complications with trading conditions mean we will no longer be trading".

It is known that planning permission has been obtained for a housing development on the land.

Stapeley Water Gardens have been trading for over 45 years and will be sorely missed by many gardeners in the area.
