Macclesfield Garden Centre was bought by Fairways in 2008 and has undergone significant development in the past few years. They stock a full choice of plants with a two year hardy plant guarantee. They also sell a good selection of garden accessories, tools, chemical, composts and other garden essentials. A new cafe was opened in 2008 with pleasant views onto the plants area. They serve main meals, snack meals, coffees, teas and lots of cakes. The cafe was awarded three out of five stars for Food Hygiene by Cheshire East in February 2013. Not a particularly impressive rating where cafes of this style and nature would expect a four star rating at least and be aiming for a five star rating.
Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and new Year's Day
