Cafe Rating:
DOG FRIENDLY? Sanders Garden Centre is dog friendly. Dogs on leads are welcome throughout the centre. There are dog friendly areas in both the cafe and the restaurant.
One difficulty does occur for dog owners who are single however and that is how you order and pay for your meal which can normally only be done at the till point. Dogs are not allowed to get to the till point and this poses an obvious problem for single people with dogs. Not quite sure how you would deal with this.

SIZE: Large. They have two separate eating areas, the Parlour Restaurant (expensive) and a cafe.

FOOD TYPE: The restaurant concentrates on the more expensive main meals whilst the cafe serves cakes, teas, coffee, and other snack meals.
FOOD QUALITY:
The food we sampled was of good quality.

DECOR:
The decor of both the restaurant and cafe is very good with clean tables and
chairs.
OUTDOOR SEATING:
The outdoor seating area opens up onto the main garden centre and has a large
number of tables.
SERVICE:
Service was prompt and courteous with little waiting time to be served.
VALUE FOR MONEY:
Good quality food at above average prices.
SIZE OF PLANTS AREA: Large.
PLANT SELECTION:
There's a reasonable selection of mainly healthy plants at Sanders Centre. We
did notice however that some of the roses were not top quality, see the picture
below.

LAYOUT:
The entire area is flat with solid paths. A larger than average part of the
outside area is under cover which is good if it's raining.

Unusually many of the plants are on low level bays which we thought was a good idea. It allowed a view of the the majority of plants area.

VALUE FOR MONEY:
Prices slightly higher than average with the cheapest clematis being £17.99 and
the cheapest rose at £18.99.
SIZE: Large but not as large as their website would have you believe. They have a Pavers shoe shop, Pets Corner and Maidenhead Aquatics.
Lots of outdoor garden garden furniture which is mainly of the expensive type. They have a good choice of healthy houseplants.
