for Google map showing the location. Newlands Garden Centre began in 1975 as a pick-your-own nursery. Over the years they have added various large greenhouses and polytunnels to transform it into a fully fledged garden centre. They sell a full range of shrubs, roses, climbers, perennials, alpines and trees. Each year in season they grow about 150,000 bedding plants and hanging baskets on their own nurseries making them one of the largest in the area. They also stock a full range of gardening accessories including tools, pesticides, fertilisers, pots, stoneware and lots more. garden furniture is not forgotten, they sell a good selection of Alexander Rose Furniture and various other makes. They have a useful price guarantee for the garden furniture that they will match any item found cheaper. If you want to buy some local produce and eat it at home then their new Food Hall will not disappoint. If you need a full meal, snack or just a coffee then their cafe will do the job. Newlands Garden Centre appear to have the same address and telephone number as Coppice Garden Centre. At this point in time it's not clear if they are both the same garden centre or are in fact different garden centres. We will be visiting the area in the near future and will update this garden centre article when we know more.
