Mud Island Garden Centre is a family run business which began trading in its current form in 1992. Plants are at the centre of this garden centre and indeed they grow many of their own plants on site. Plants are healthy and well displayed. As well as the shop, several parts of the plants area are covered allowing some browsing even in rainy weather.

Most of the plants are displayed on raised benches and the paths are wide and solid. Pleasant lawns run between plant displays giving an open and attractive feel to the area.

The interior sales stocks all those essential garden accessories in addition to bird feeds, water features, pottery, gifts, artificial flowers and other items.

In 2023 they have an excellent choice of garden and conservatory furniture.

Mud Island Garden Centre has wheelchair accessibility to most areas including disabled toilet facilities.

ARE MUD ISLAND DOG FRIENDLY?

Mud Island Garden Centre is not dog friendly. Their website indicates that only assistance dogs are welcome in their garden centre.
