The Medina Garden Centre is part of the Butterfly World complex on the isle of Wight which is a great attraction for kids and adults. It's one of the larger garden centres on the island and it grows many of the plants which it sells. Bedding plants, shrubs and trees are all available. The plants area is well laid out and offers easy access to all including wheelchair users with its solid, wide paths.
Inside the garden centre there is a larger than expected sales area which sells a good range of gardening accessories. It also stocks a large choice of garden, conservatory and home furniture. They also sell gifts, cards and household items.
The Hungry Caterpillar Cafe at the garden centre sells main meals, snack meals, drinks and cakes. It was awarded five stars (the maximum rating) for food hygiene in February 2014 by the Isle of Wight Council.
There is parking for 150 cars and dedicated areas for coach parking (booking recommended). Nearby garden centres and plant nurseries include Springbank Nursery, Busy Bee Garden Centre, Dalverton Garden Centre.
