VIDEO OF THE PLANTS AREA AT LITTLEHURST NURSERY & GARDEN CENTRE The first thing you notice in the outside sales area is how clean and clutter free it is, always a good sign. There is a reasonable sized covered area and the remainder of the plants sales area is open. The paths are a mixture of reasonably solid gravel and solid surface. The plant bays are kept intentionally small and they are arranged in an attractive manner. Much of the border is shielded by mature trees which give the area a pleasant appearance.
Finding plants is relatively easy because there are signs to the plant groupings and many of them are arranged in alphabetic order. The range of plants is excellent for a medium sized garden centre, you are more than likely to find all the common plants. The interior sales area is well laid out and concentrates mainly on gardening items although we did notice a few books and a reasonable range of bird feeds. We were surprised at how comprehensive the selection was. They ladies, gents and disabled toilets on site. The car park is more than large enough and right outside the entrance. Prices are on average slightly lower than normal especially as far as the plants were concerned. Example prices are £12.99 for the economy Yeoman fork / spade, clematis start at £8.99 and roses are from £7.99, all very reasonable prices.
