The Homebase branch in Leamington Spa is one of the
bigger ones and has its own dedicated garden centre in a
stand alone area. The variety of plants on sale includes
many of the common ones including a fair selection of
shrubs.
During spring, summer and autumn they have an
excellent choice of seasonal bedding plants at very
competitive prices, cheaper than nearby garden centres.
Disabled access is reasonable to all areas of this store. |
As well as plants Homebase in Leamington Spa have a
good range of gardening accessories including composts, garden
chemicals, fertilisers and general garden goodies. They have a
particularly good choice of lawnmowers, barbecues and garden
furniture again at some of the best prices in the area. Homebase, of
course have an online store so it's quite possible to check what's
available online and then collect the items you want in-store or
have them delivered.
| The car park is on flat, level
ground and right outside the entrance. On most days it's
large enough but at peak weekend times it can get full.
In
the car park they have a snack bar which has been in
business there for many years. It sells hot potatoes,
baguettes and snacks. Quality is good, prices are low, click

The nearest garden centre is Hinton
Nurseries which is about four miles away in nearby Warwick. Hintons
definitely offer better service and knowledge compared to Homebase
Leamington Spa, however the plant prices are also higher.
