The main plants area is L shaped and this makes for an interesting layout outside. The plants are in good condition with an especially good choice of evergreens, topiary plants and Japanese Maples (acer palmatum).
Example prices at Ducks Hill Garden Centre are 1kg of Miracle Gro at £4.99, 1 litre of Tomorite is £3.99, Yeoman economy spade or fork £13.99, multi-purpose compost is £5.99 for 50 litres with a two for three bags offer, clematis start from £8.99, roses are from £7.99 or 3 for £15. So, the plants are good value but the general gardening accessories are over-priced.
The car park is immediately outside the garden centre entrance and on flat, well-drained land.
