FOOD TYPE: Cafe style food, main meals, snack meals, snacks, drinks and cakes

FOOD QUALITY: Just very slightly above average. Nothing to recommend it in particular but also no great failings.

DECOR: Modern and spacious. Plastic table and chairs, plain but functional, clean

OUTDOOR SEATING: Plain area set into garden centre, unattractive

SERVICE: Queues at the till in peak times

PLANTS AT DOBBIES ATHERSTONE

SIZE: Large, also includes a very large selection of garden buildings and greenhouses

PLANT SELECTION: A large choice, no plants grown by Dobbies, all are bought in. Good quality with 5 year hardy plant guarantee, no specialist areas

LAYOUT: Boring but functional. About 25% under cover plus a covered walkway around the area

VALUE FOR MONEY: Average

INTERIOR SALES AT DOBBIES ATHERSTONE

SIZE: Very large, includes gifts, garden furniture, mobility centre, clothing, garden accessories, Food Hall (cheese, meat and deli items), indoor plants, aquatics, pets centre (includes live pets) was awarded a five star Food Hygeine rating in May 2015. The butcher's counter at the Food Hall (run as Trotters Ltd) was awarded a five star rating  for Food Hygiene by North Warwickshire Borough Council in November 2015.

When we reviited in February 2017 the garden centre was undergooing extensive modifiction. We will re-vist soon and report back on progress.
